Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra

This girl band is nice!! I've heard some of their songs before but this is the song that really draws my attention. Their dance moves are so...addictive XD I wish that's what we do in my hip hop class. But...too bad my dance instructor is a man. I doubt he will EVER choreograph such moves.

Ga In (the one with short hair) and Narsha (the one with imbalanced bangs XD)...Ooooh, I absolutely love their hair!! I've always wanted to have Ga In's hair...but I think it won't fit me. The same goes for Narsha's hair T^T Miryo (the rapper) reminds me of TOP from Big Bang. Her attitude, her voice, the way she moves and rap...EVERYTHING! Even her looks look like him XD I think the Korean music industry is being hit by the "Lady Gaga's style" waves. Some girl bands have adopted Lady Gaga's style (e.g. obviously, 2NE1). An example from the boys are, of course, none other than my GD-oppa =D

Btw, this is the dance version of their music video. It's not the official music video, but it's on youtube. So if you want to see it...go check it out yourselves. (I'm practically forcing people to look up their mv LOLX)

Enjoy the song. (It's really addictive)

Black Couple (edited)

"playing" with photoshop again XP
brushes used: galactic brushes by axeraider70 and suddenly spring brushes by gvalkyrie (downloaded from Brusheezy)

*I hope I'm not doing some illegal things by using their brushes >< I don't know how it works*

I was trying to learn how to create glowing lights in photoshop elements. Gotten a little hang of it now but still have much more space for improvement. Gonna keep trying until I can call myself an expert at this XDD

For the "eyes" glowing effect, I coloured it on a new layer, then duplicate that layer TWICE (it helps to make the colour look sharper). For the 1st layer, I used Gaussian blur (radius around 2.0); 2nd layer, I put the opacity to around 60-70% and used Gaussian blur again (radius around 7.0); 3rd layer, repeated what I did on 2nd layer but I decreased the opacity and increased Gaussian blur radius. After finish editing, I merged the layers together and used colour dodge (with a lighter colour than the eyes). Blurred it a little with blur tool and it's done! Usually people just merge the layers and use colour dodge to add the lights but I like the effects of the method I used (and not to mention I didn't know I could used the former method XDD so I experimented and came up with this method, with help of course). For the "light ball" thingy on the girl's hand, I did the exact same thing, only that I used accented edges on it, too (brush strokes >> accented edges). I wasn't planning on using it at first. As I said before, I was playing around, experimenting. When I pressed "accented edges", the effect was really nice. That's why I decided to use it ;D

Stay...(Completed)

Tools used: Mechanical pencil, Copic multiliner 0.03, Pilot drawing pen, PaintTool SAI, Photoshop Elements 6.0

Wow, it took me sooo darn long to finish something simple like this (compared to other DA artists). 2 and a half days! The longest time I've ever spent on a drawing. Gosh...This is my first ever digital work. I just downloaded SAI 31-day trial (better use as much as I can) and was dying to try it out. I had fun experimenting with it and photoshop too.

I was kinda lazy to post it when I finished this on Monday (after posting it on 3 other websites XD)

Still can't be compared to the works of those amazing DA artists. So, I'm gonna work harder! I'm gonna improve my colouring skills! Haha...Fighting!!
