Monash v the Chicken (2009)

Yesterday I had my business law lecture. It was at 3 pm and it was 2-hour long. As usual, I sat in the auditorium, waiting for my "always punctual" lecturer to come. 20 minutes later, she had finally arrived. ^^ And then, for the first half of the lecture, I was so sleepy (as usual) but I tried not to succumb to the temptation of the oh-so-comfy chair. I thought I was bound to fall asleep again but, suddenly, the lecturer mentioned something about food poisoning. She was trying to use an example to explain something to us.

The example was that one day, all the Monash students have food poisoning because of something they ate at the cafeteria. And the main cause was the eggs the cafeteria purchased from a supermarket. She asked, "Who should the university sue?" Well, a typical law student would have said the supermarket, right? But guess what my friend said...

While we were thinking who to sue and how to argue for the case, he just blurted out, "Sue the chicken." (With a really serious expression on his face)

Everyone (I mean me and my friends) could not stop laughing!!! And then we just turned the discussion into "how should we sue the chicken" instead of what the lecturer wanted us to do.
A girl friend beside me said, "How should we bring the chicken to the court?? Tie it up??"

And then, something came into my mind. "How do you translate what the chicken is saying?" and imagined how would the chicken look like if it is to wear a formal black suit. LOLX.

That really woke me up. I didn't fall asleep or even feel sleepy at all. I had been laughing throughout the next half of the lecture. Another girl friend was like, "Enough already la!" LOLX Sorry...I didn't mean to laugh that much XDD
