Sem 2 Exams are OVER!!

Well, after the exam, I went shopping with my Mom in Sunway Pyramid. I bought 4 new outfits!!! And believe it or not, 1 of them is milky white with laces (I love laces ;D) and the other three are all BLACK!! LOL~ As if I don't have enough of black clothes in my wardrobe =.=" My Mom was like "Black again??"

I planned to watch 2012 today, too, but the ticket counters were packed with herds of people! XD I didn't feel like queing up so I decided to watch it later.

After the last paper, yes, I'm free. But you know what? I felt relaxed...and empty. Not excited but numb. I'd been lying on the sofa, staring at the ceiling the entire time after I came home from shopping. There was nothing to watch on TV, I don't feel like watching anime, reading manga, writing my novels, reading books or even drawing!! But I don't want to sit around and do nothing or sleep through the whole day either! I don't know what is wrong with me!! I really need to go out with my friends and chill out. If not, I'll die from all these frustration ><

And I've also been wondering...what did Siew Yin they all planned to do today?? Why are they being so secretive? Well, I couldn't find out since I couldn't join them in Mid Valley. They're making me really curious XD

New art work!!

Finished these in the last two days~

They're Eun Hye and Bride of Phantasos, respectively. Both with different style and sensation, imo. But my personal fave is the Bride. Love how it turned out to be with a "fantasy" feeling, the way I wanted it to be. For Eun Hye, though, it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to, especially the background.

A little note about the Bride: Phantasos is a Greek god who brings fantasy dreams to people. I've developed a huge interest on Ancient Greek and Roman mythologies XD

I combined this bit of interesting information I read on Wikipedia, which was the inspiration for this art piece, with an 18th-century-inspired avant-garde dress. I know, it doesn't make sense XD

Anyways, hope you'll like them =]

Dream came true...sort of

On Sunday during my violin lesson with my talented violin teacher (and he plays the piano, too ;D), I was sort of panicking because there's this damn song that I couldn't play smoothly no matter how many times I practiced. I felt kinda upset when I messed it up again in front of him. Though, it was only one of the three songs which I practiced for the last 2 weeks, and I could play the other two smoothly. One of these two was a short version of Pachelbel's Canon in D. I've always love this piece since I watched korean's "My Sassy Girl". I didn't have to put much effort into practicing because the rhythm and the beat are stuck in my head for a long time already XD and it isn't a difficult piece.

And then, out of the blue, my teacher started playing the song on the piano. He didn't really say anything but I knew very well what he wanted --- a duo!!!!!

I was, like, totally stupefied but really excited at the same time that I almost screamed of happiness. Lol~ I've always wanted to play a piece with someone, a duo, quartet or whatever, as long as I get to feel the kind of beauty from the harmony of a few intruments playing together.

So, I played the violin and he played the piano. Even though it's not perfect, it felt amazing!! It makes me feel all the more unhappy about dropping violin lessons if I'm going to study abroad next year T.T And I was so glad that I have met this teacher. He's nice and doesn't have trouble to make me feel relax during the lessons (well, maybe it's because he's only a few years older).

And my dream really do came true!!!! Without me having the slightest idea that it ever would. I thought I could only make it happen if I join some kind of orchestra. I'm really on cloud nine now, for two whole days (so far). Gah~ It makes me wanna keep playing the violin and drop the damn accounting notes for the exam on Thursday ><

Romeo + Juliet; and an unforgettable memory

Even though I said I won't be updating again for this month just two days ago, here I am writing another post XD

I bought a Japanese movie today. It's called "Romeo+Juliet". Some plot points are similar to that of the classical Shakespeare's tale of the tragic star-crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet, but the former is very different from the latter. The way the two lovers met in the movie reminded me of someone.

He was not my first love, nor was he the guy I like right at this moment. But somehow, I'm sure that I won't be able to forget him for the rest of my life.

He was one of those naughty kids during kindergarten. I wasn't really friends with him at that time and we didn't really talk but I'd always remembered him for a prank he pulled on me. It wasn't a serious one but that memory is still very much vividly clear in my mind. Right after I graduated from that kindergarten, I met him. At the McD near my house. That time, that McD had a small playground set up for children at that age. I was playing on a slide and he was right in front of me. I didn't recognise him because of his face, but because of a mark on his neck. And again, he was kind of rude to me. That was the reason his face had made a deep mark on my memory.

After almost six years, I had practically forgot about this rude boy, until one day. My neighbour and my best friend at that time, Amanda, mentioned a guy friend of hers. The name she told me of was the same as the name of that boy I knew. At first, I thought it was just a mere coincident, so I didn't read too much into it. During a school holiday, my cousin took me to Genting Highland along with his girlfriend and her best friend (let's just call her Jenny). Jenny and us arrived separately. When we gathered, there was another person with Jenny. He was jumping around, talking casually with my cousin like they'd known each other for a long time. When they introduced us to one another, I knew it was him. Not just because of his name and face, but also the way he talked. The same rude little boy.
Because we were of the same age, I played everything in the theme park with him. He dragged me here and there, and I followed him around quietly because I didn't know that place well like he did. But after awhile, I noticed he had changed since kindergarten. He wasn't rude, he was just acting friendly. At the end of the day, I found out that he was the exact same boy that my best friend mentioned. But there was one thing I wasn't sure of, even until this day. Did he recognise me at that time? The way he looked at me when we first saw each other told me he didn't recognise me, which made me felt a little disappointed. But the way he talked to me and teased me told me a different answer.

About a year later, I was already in Form 1 with Amanda. The boy whom I thought I would not meet again appeared before me, in my school's uniform. He was in the same class as Amanda. When she introduced us to each other, his voice didn't show it but his eyes and his smile told me he recognised me, even for a little. I couldn't help but feel a tiny hint of happiness. However, I didn't see much of him at school. Only a couple of times where he teased me.

During my second year of high school, I had a crush on my first love. We didn't date until a year later. But during this year, something happened between me and that boy. I was ice-skating with my classmate in Sunway Pyramid, and to my surprise, he was there, too. The moment we saw each other, there was a strange feeling. It's like the "spark" that happens in all the love stories. We skated separately, each with our own friends. But he would often try to find opportunity to skate beside me and chat with me. Before we left the rink, he asked me out. I was too happy to reject him. Unfortunately, he forgot to ask for my number and I forgot to give it to him. He tried to ask me out again a few days later at school but something came up and eventually, we didn't go on a date at all.

I thought I would be able to see him at school more often than before after the gap between us grew smaller. But somehow, I never heard from him again. Nor had I seen him at all at school. I didn't know what happen and I had no one to ask because at that time Amanda, the only common friend we had, had transferred.

Thinking back now, if I did go on a date with him at that time, my first love would not have been my first love. And it would not have been so hard to forget about him, because people say the seed of a love (or a crush) that had ended without a reason will always be in the heart. One won't be able to rid the heart of it until it is properly ended.

He may have forgotten about me. He may have never taken it seriously. But I've always had a feeling that I will be able to see him again.
(Phew~ I can actually write about a guy in such a way. It really surprised me.)

A one-shot update

I'm reallllyyy lazy to update these days. Was busy with assignments and tests and on top of that, final is coming up. I don't think I'll be updating for this month again. So, I'll post everything in one shot XD

Firstly, I really don't know what's up with my friend. She can be laughing and joking with you in this second, and the next second, she totally ignores you (I mean me). After observing for some time, I think I'm the only one being treated this way. Either it's because I didn't know her true nature before this OR she dislikes me. I don't know. She really does give out the impression that she hates me. For example, even if she saw me in the library or in the lecture hall, she could just walk passed me without even greeting or look at me; totally ignores me when I'm sitting next to her (and then acts like she's really busy by keeps on flipping her books and notes); treats me like I'm a scary and irritating virus when I asked her about assignments (as if she couldn't bear the thought of letting me do well in assignments).

Today, we were talking during the first lecture. And during the second lecture (continue straight after the first one), I was practically invisible. I asked her some questions, she looked at me with a "huh?" look and then started flipping her notes. I thought she was trying to find answers to my questions in her notes, but she had actually continued doing her own thing without even bother to give me an "I don't know".

And then, it's time for the last class of the day (a tutorial). We went there together half an hour early in total silence. After putting our things in the classroom, we went for the washroom. We were queing up and she was busy with her phone. Then, without even a word, she just left. Just like that. I was just staring after her and thought "What is wrong with her???". She came back a few minutes before the class started. She just kept flipping her books (in a really fast pace that I doubted she could even read a word) again. I hope I'm just being paranoid but, I noticed she only flips her books and notes (or buries her nose into them) when I'm there. Either she's trying to show off to me how much she has studied, or, which is the more possible explanation, she isn't fond of me. During that one hour tutorial, we still didn't talk. And when the class was over, *whoosh* off she went. Didn't even bother to look at me.

This wasn't the first time. I'm kinda upset with her attitude towards me. I was trying hard to be friend with her, but if she keeps these up, sorry... I think we can only stay as normal coursemates (I don't think this bothers her at all, though).

Okay, enough about her. Now it's turn to update about my favourite mangas. *Winks* Well...Tsubasa Chronicles had officially ended a couple of weeks ago. *Sobx* Now I have one less manga to follow. Though, I don't really get the ending. It's like the story isn't complete. And then, Stray Love Hearts. *Sigh* I know the translators have their own life and things to do but, I've been waiting for so long for the second chapter!!! I hope they can release it as soon as possible. Vampire Knight's newest chapter had nothing exciting. Just normal. Skip Beat, on the other hand, HAH!!!! Ren's reaction was priceless!! x] Haha. The king of the night was back for a moment.

And then, this month, I've been complimented quite often about things I wore. Lolx. A guy in the library saw my metallic purple nail polish (I painted it on my toes, not my fingers ;D) and told me the colour was very nice. And then there's the outfit I just bought. A few of my friends said it's cool *blush*. Some of my friends like my necklace that was worn with the outfit (a long necklace with an old-gold colour and some beads). I was also commented by the woman who was in charge of taking people's temperature when they go into the campus about my necklace (another long necklace with plastic "rubies" and shiny silver dragonflies). Haha...I was laughing to myself when the woman said she likes my plastic-ruby necklace because it was the next day after my friends complimented on my new outfit and the old-gold necklace. I was like, speechless. XD Erm...it's not exactly something to be proud of, is it?? Lolx *embarassed*

Last but not least, my new works.

In the first picture, I really like how Lilith Korbokova (the girl with dark long hair) and Damien's cigarette pose had turned out. And then the second and third picture, they were inspired by the Brown Eyed Girls' Abracadabra music video. It didn't turn out as I wanted it to be after colouring it =[ Oh well.
